Turn on the API server, connect your iPhone, and use Petasai away from home.

When you write, please include
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- Petasai's version, shown at the bottom of Settings.
- Your Hermes Agent version, shown in Settings › Hermes.
- What you expected, what happened, and any message the app showed.
Please don't send your API key or passwords. We'll never ask for them.
Common questions
Petasai can't reach my server
See Troubleshooting in the setup guide. Most often it's the Local Network permission, a .local name your iPhone can't find, or the dashboard's port in the Server field.
I can't see my worker bots
The team comes from the Hermes dashboard. Sign in to it in Settings › Team. See step 2.
I can't chat with a worker
Give the worker the same API key as your main bot. See Chatting with your worker bots.
Files won't open
Files come from your server through the dashboard, so you need to be signed in to it. Your server also refuses to hand out credential files such as .env.
Can I lock Petasai with Face ID?
Yes. On iOS 18 or later, press and hold the Petasai icon, then choose Require Face ID.
Can notifications hide what my bots said?
Yes. Turn off Show message text in Petasai's Settings › Notifications, and notifications only say which bot needs you and why. To hide them on the Lock Screen too, use iOS Settings › Notifications › Petasai › Show Previews.
I'm not getting notifications
Check Settings › Notifications in Petasai, and that Background App Refresh is on. iOS decides how often the app checks while closed, usually every 15 minutes to a few hours, and it needs your server to be reachable.
